Kari Tiainen (born August 26, 1966 in Riihimäki) is a Finnish enduro rider. He is a seven-time World Enduro Champion and holds the record for most wins in the World Enduro Championship (77). He took his first championship with Suzuki, the next four with Husqvarna and the last two with KTM. He has also won the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) 500cc class in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1999, and participated in several national championships becoming a four-time German and two-time Finnish and Spanish champion. In addition to his own titles, he has won the Team World Championship for Finland in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2003. In 1999, he also drove for Finland in the Race of Champions, alongside Tommi Mäkinen and JJ Lehto, as the team won the Nations Cup.
