Breathful (FILM)
' is an all woman cast film made by Daryush Shokof in 2007 in Berlin, Germany.
The title was used by Shokof for another movie in 1990 in New York, called ; Ben Hur, the breathless, taxi-driver in Casa Blanca, or simply, the "breathful". it is a gangster comedy and dedicated to freedom of women world wide, and most specifically in his home land Iran.
PLOT;
Two friends Taies Farzan, and Narges Rashidi (both Iranians living in Germany) try to get rich quickly by getting drugs on credit from a drug lord (sigi). they go through all sorts of absurd situations in order to sell the drugs, and are unable to sell it. they bring the drugs back to Sigi and ask her to forget the deal. their life turns into a miserable ride from that moment on.they first try to sell the drugs unsuccessfully to a close associate. Simultaneously Berta (played by Taies Farzan) continues on her daring routine jobs of holding up store clercks and brings hoe hard cash as Fuss (Narges Rashidi) cotinues contacting her society of elite friends in much calm, cool, and relaxation in contrast to all the pain Berta has to go trough to make ends meet.Fuss,s ignorance, and collectedness finally aggrevates Berta to the point of explosion, and so they have fights, and disagreements throughout the film. their troubles, and disagreements peak as Fuss suggests they should become painters and sell art works to get rich over night and for Berta to stop all that rubbish store roberry business. The Gallery scene is a true delight as Berta and Fuss put on a real show in exhibiting their art works.their situation gets more helpless as Fuss has an affair with Boss,s beautiful daughter Naomi. Sigi finds out about the affair and thereaftr it is evident that the final encounter is expected as Sigi goes to get her daughter back and kill the two of funniest girl couples in the gangster world. the shoot out leavs many dead bodies around. their bloody bodies is escorted out of the scene by the crazy brave, and mysterious taxi-driver, Benny Hur.

Concept:
the film has an "all woman" cast ( DaryushShokof used most purposely two Iranian lead Actresses as Shokof dedicated this movie to the freedom of women world wide and most specifically Iranian women in his own home land Iran where he believes women are brutally under dictatorial ,and unjust treatments by Islamic Republic of Iran regime which is currently ruling his country) except for a scene where a nose of a man (shokof,s own nose and used to make fun of all Iranian "macho" society) is to be seen in a most hillarious perspective, where the lead actresses make fun of the man,s nose. shokof makes a remarkable attempt in a Genre (Gangster-Comedy)to show that women can do it all without any participation of a male actor throughout such a Genre which is usually dominated by male actors.the results are vivid, and most comic in some rare scenes that could go into memorable cinema moments.more critics can be read about this very daring production in the "imdb" reports:
